Cohiba 1966 Edición Limitada

The 1966 commemorates Cohiba’s 45th anniversary. This classic Cuban cigar has distinctive coffee bean flavor. It’s both creamy and leathery. Toss in a milk chocolaty sweetness, and you’re in stogie heaven. Unlike most other Cohibas, the 1966 is only available on a limited basis, so good luck getting your hands on a box.

Padrón Family Reserve 85 Years

Cigars made by the Padrón family are highly rated by aficiandos everywhere. It’s indicative of the care and skill they have used in making their cigars for almost 50 years.  They come in two varieties, maduro and natural. This Nicaraguan cigar is intricate and earthy, with a hint of herbal flavors, black truffle and cherry. It’s an extraordinary smoke.

H. Upmann Royal Robusto

Cuban cigars seem to be getting fatter. And that approach works wonderfully with this new H. Upmann Royal Robusto. This chunky cigar was unveiled at the 2011 Habanos Festival in Cuba. It has a lovely, rich draw, which delivers a big earthy flavor. There’s coffee bean and minerals, then a long oaky finish. This is not a mild smoke, it has some punch.
